Rules Governing Scholarship Grants

Svithiod students desiring to apply for a Svithiod Scholarship grant must fill out an application form and send it to the Grand Lodge Office, 5518 W. Lawrence Ave., Chicago, Illinois 60630 before the deadline date of July 20, 2020. Those who intend to apply must conform to the following rules.

1. In order to be eligible for a Svithiod grant, the applicant must be a member in good standing in the Independent Order of Svithiod for at least three (3) years and be a high school senior and/or graduate. Applicants must have a 2.5 average or better. 12 Semester hours are required. Second, Third, & Fourth year students only. Incomplete/late applications WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

2. Application for the scholarship grant shall be submitted to the Grand Lodge Office July 20, 2020 (end of business day). no late APPLICATION WILL BE ACCEPTED

3. Full-time undergraduate students are eligible to re-apply for additional grants, not to exceed four (4) grants.
